I was gonna start on it today, but that auger is a 2 man job. My a$$ is to little to hold onto that rig by myself. It just about snatched my arms off when I got it cranked. Called Eric to see if he wanted to come play, but he said he had to work. Likely story.

Ok, the pen is almost ready, but we had to order some smaller wire. Don’t want the ducklings swimming thru the fence into the waiting jaws of ole largemouth. Should have it ready next week. I need to get back to work. Here’s a shot of Sabra next to the door to give you an idea of it’s size.

Keith, many bird guys would love to buy a perfectly plumed bird for competitions. BUT, many breeders won’t sell to a taxidermist. They’re way of thinking is more along the lines of tree huggers. I’ve had birds before, but i’ve only had a small pen for a couple of birds at a time. But now i’m ready for lots of birds. My purpose besides reference, will be to offer birds to taxidermists. I’m gonna have a lot of American and South American birds in a couple of years hopefully. And the prices should be pretty reasonable.
