Hey guys! Havent been on in a while. Been busy mounting and getting my shop in order. Anyways I just got back from two weeks in North Dakota, and picked up several awesome specimens to throw on the workbench. We killed lots of snows, mainly blues, several ross, specks, and cacklers. My biggest question is about the cacklers. I know there are a few subspecies that mainly go by region, and the research I have done for North Dakota is saying Richardsons, and “cacklers” is mainly a west coast group. These were the first Ive ever had in hand and am wondering is there any way to tell for sure what species these are. Awesome little geese for sure.
