This may appear to be a goofy question but I promise it is legit (in my mind anyways).
Normally I wrap my own bird bodies but I was considering purchasing a manikin for a Canadian Goose I found (yes, found). Have you ever used hide paste adhere the skin to the manikin? Did it work?!
Anyways, I may not get the opportunity to try it on this bird but could possibly in the future. The body of this bird is over 17 inches around the breast and 29 inches around the body from the neck to tail. I have not found a manikin so far that is big enough.

I have to share the story on how I got this bird! My son and I walk a three mile trek everyday that takes up by the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks. He picks up aluminum cans along the way to recycle. About a month ago he sees this plastic bag in the ditch by the tracks and goes downs to see if any cans are in it. No cans but a HUGE Canadian goose (dead of course). It didn’t smell so we went home and I got the car to go retrieve it. I bagged it and put it in my freezer. I took it out a few days ago and skinned it out. It was definitely a winter bird. Fantastic thick feathers and fat.
We only measure length on the bird not circumference like we do the belly. So by your own measurements you have L 14.5 x C 17 This form would work http://www.mckenziesp.com/WF32…..P4858.aspx but remember your going to have a lot of grease stretch after its fleshed and washed. I always order 2 or 3 different sizes in goose forms and do a “wet” test fit. As far as adhesive I use caulk.
