I just purchased Page’s wood duck DVD which I highly recommend. He used a cotton necking material in the DVD which looks like a great alternative to the foam necking material I currently use. Where can I find the cotton necking material I checked a couple of crafts stores with no luck except for cotton poly fill batting, I believe Page called it cotton rope.
Thanks
Go to your local Sallys Beauty Supply. It’s what they put around womens heads to keep the chemicals out of there face. It comes in 2 kinds. Reinforced and Nonreinforced. You want the Nonreinforced. It comes in a box of 1200ft. Cost around $18. It’s a little tricky to use for the first 6 or 7 birds, but you’ll get the hang of it. Make sure you keep it tight, so it doesn’t bunch up on you. If you liked the woody DVD, you’ll love the flying Blue-wing DVD available now. Good luck.
