I like to use some snow goose red instead of gill red, and white with a little chocolate brown. Make sure that you thin whatever colors you are working with a lot. The more “paint” you apply the more “painted ” they will look. Not saying that gill red is or any of the colors listed above are wrong, this is what works best for me on my commercial mounts.
