What colors do some of you guys use for finishing your turkey legs?

To give you a good start Brett D suggest start with equal parts of Chocolate Brown, Lavender Flesh, White and Gill Red. I’ve used that mix and it gives you a good start. Their legs do very in color.

Thanks. That’s seems to be a combination of two of the three paint schedules in the Breakthrough book. I’ tried the white and cadmium red and it seemed too pinkish. Just ordered the chocolate brown and lavender flesh today. Will give it a try.
I like to use some snow goose red instead of gill red, and white with a little chocolate brown. Make sure that you thin whatever colors you are working with a lot. The more “paint” you apply the more “painted ” they will look. Not saying that gill red is or any of the colors listed above are wrong, this is what works best for me on my commercial mounts.
