I like to use some snow goose red instead of gill red, and white with a little chocolate brown. Make sure that you thin whatever colors you are working with a lot. The more “paint” you apply the more “painted ” they will look. Not saying that gill red is or any of the colors listed above are wrong, this is what works best for me on my commercial mounts. Good luck!
