Very nice. I have a pair to do today, (at least one of a pair). I hope they come out better than they have been. Like my mentor Nancy said, it’s not quite like getting back on a bicycle after all this time. (For one thing, the joints aren’t as good as they were, LOL. Arthritic hands make the bird mounting more difficult as well, coupled with a touch of numbness from carpal tunnel.)
Thus, I pray that The LORD will bless my efforts.
Next week we start molding fish, 2 bass, a big white bass, and some big bluegills Clayton caught last week in Florida. Then we have a 28-inch “speckled trout” (weakfish type) to do for an old taxidermy friend. It will be a change from the birds.
Nice woodie, however.
