Hey guys, quick question…I am planning on starting my third bird soon, (drake wood duck) and Im planning to stand him on one leg. Specifically tucking
one behind the side pocket with just the foot hanging out. Do I simply just raise my attachment point to a femur forward position? And do I still need to
make a drumstick for that leg? Never done one like this before so any help will be much appreciated! Brandon
Duck, the femur position rotates forward. Then the drumstick bends toward the rear parallel with the floor. then bend at the Tarsus joint forward towards the sidepockets. Bend toes down a little at each toe joint. Pull sidepockets over leg. Don’t forget a relief cut in the body for the standing leg. Center toe at 1st joint from (ankle) will be your balance point.
