OfflineI was injecting turkey feet with a two part injection fluid. Pressure build up caused it to squirt out at my face when I pulled the needle out. Even though I was wearing glasses, they had slid down on my nose and the fluid squirted over the glasses and luckily I closed my eye before it hit my eyelid. I wiped my closed eye with lacquer thinner quickly and ran water over it for about 15 min before opening my eye in the running water. A disaster was avoided and a lesson was learned. I will be wearing GOGGLES next time.
Dang! I read your post last night and this morning I was injecting the feet on the goose I mounted. At first I was thinking, “I never had that happen” but for some reason I decided to put on the safety goggles. Guess what? The freaking needle popped off the syringe! It blew up and some of the fluid landed on my shirt and a little on my neck but none on the glasses. I was thinking, “What if.” It is worth it? You decide. Your post was just in time Tanglewood.
