OfflineHi, I am not a taxidermist but thought you guys would be the best to help me. I rescue macaws and have recently started making flowers from their molted feathers. After the flowers sitting in my spare room all summer some of them have fly poop on them. What is the best way to clean it off? Is there a way to preserve the feathers to keep the barbs from unzipping so easily?
Thanks in advance!
Gwen
