I have read through the majority of the older posts so that I wouldn’t be asking questions that have been asked 100 times before.  In the videos I purchased and in some of the pictures I seen posted here long style pins are being used on the birds.  The pins appear to have some type of plastic or hard end on the end of the pin.  What are those type of pins called and where do you order them.  I have looked on numerous taxidermy supply sites and can’t seem to find them.  Thanks

They are called Euro Pins , they come in three different sizes . Head Quarters Supply sells them as well as McKenzie .

I use “T” pins that can be had at most taxidermy supply houses and at many fabric stores locally.

I will probably stick with the T-pins also.  I checked on buying some of the others.  They are only sold by the 100 and a pack is fairly expensive.  I can see where a guy that does taxidermy for a living could use a 100 pack.  Me on the other hand only needs five or six at a time.  They sure look nice to work with though.
