I have a tough time wiring my wings when I do birds. I hardly can ever get the wire all the way down the wing. Any advice?

Skin the wing over the wrist joint. Then sharpen your wire and slip it under the tendons of the wrist with a twisting motion. When your through, push the wire until it stops. DO NOT push the wire out of the skin. Then bend the wire at the wrist joint 45degrees to lock it in place until you tie the wire to your Ulna bone.
