What gloss do you think is best, or what gloss do you use?

MountNMan, since know one has replied so far I use the following. I use multiple mediums on my fish repo’s. 75% is done by hand with powders, pastels, water color pencils and woman’s may cup in layers. lacquer if I want it to stay, and water based if I want to manipulate it. I lock down between layers with hair spray giving me the opportunity to erase if needed with Windex.  this method will prevent build up, that causes lack of detail. once finished, and ready for the final coat, I fine, IMO that rattle can Rust-Oleum Ultra cover 2x  fits the bill. fish under water are not glossy but satin or flat. unfortunately, gloss is needed to bring out any iridescent you have applied to your fish. therefore, I use all three, flat, satin and gloss. hope this helps
