I am going to be replicating a very unusual fish. I have seen this phenomenon on dogfish in Lake Geneva that have lime green fins. It is all in the mucus. No typical chainlike markings on this fish, just blues and greens! If you know more, I am interested.picgreen.jpgpickeral2.jpg

If I recall, male bowfin have GREEN lower fins at spawning time. This in addition to a yellow to orange ring around the black spot on the tail. As for these bright green fish that are turning up, I would not eat ANY fish from those waters.
