12" Quebec Fleshing Machine|For Sale|Forum|Taxidermy Talk

This is the original 12″ Quebec Fleshing machine, not the smaller plastic Quebec Lite.I just refurbished it.
It is in very good condition. I have shaved less than 50 deer, elk & bear hides on it. In 2001 it was selling for $1275.
The head unit is cast and machined aluminum.
The main bearing was made in Germany and rated at 100,000 hours.
In addition to the bronze guards I am including a pair of Dakota V guards that have been modified to fit this machine for the detail work.
I also added a removable plastic catch tray below the head unit to catch the shavings, upgraded the pully belt with a braided belt (Powerplus V Belt) to further reduce vibration and added locking casters.
It has a 1/2 HP, 1725 RPM Leeson Motor (PN 110086) that runs like new.
It has  Quebec’s “Delux Table”(35″ L x 32″ W x 35 1/2” H). Also included is a recently sharpened blade.
As I do not want the hassle of shipping, this is for pickup only at my house.
You are welcome to give a call and come by the house to try the Quebec on one of your own pickled hide scraps.
The only reason I am selling the Quebec is I just purchased an S&S Fleshing machine.
