OfflineDear,
I’m Jordi Ramis, owner of the Deformed Animals Museum collection in Llubí (Malorca, Spain), after all these years we have decided to put our collection on sale and we have though that you could be interested to acquiring it.
The collection consists of a total of 74 dissected (stuffed) animals, 51 of which have some type of genetic deformity.
The collection began in 1949 by Jorge Alomar Sureda and has been nourished for many years by donations from neighbours throughout the island, was available for many years at the Bar Central Museum of Llubí (Mallorca) although it has also been exhibited in private museums such as the Pueblo Español of Mallorca, in Olivart de Manacor and in Cala Ratjada (specific local).
Also included in the collection:
– 8 certificates expedited by taxidermist indicating the status of the animals when they were hand over for the naturalization.
– 48 press articles and magazines in different languages: English, German, Spanish, Catalonian and French.
– 9 taxidermy tickets or invoices.
– Some antique photos.
– Marketing brochures.
– 5 videos with reports in different Spanish televisions.
All the information of the collection including images and videos can be found in this webpage: http://deformedanimals.weebly.com
We’re planning to make a auction on eBay from 01/05/2018 to 10/05/2018 (10 days), in the meantime, all interested parts are free to visit the collection on Llubí (Mallorca, Balearics Islands, Spain).
Considerations:
– Auction is for the entire collection as an unique product.
– None of the animals have been falsified or purposely deformed, they all have been naturalised in the same status as received.
– The winning bidder will take care to the packaging and shipping.
So that’s it, in case you’re interested in biding or visiting the collection just let us know at deformedanimalsmuseum@gmail.com.
