It is mounted exactly as it was sculpted Keith. I made no alterations at all.

Cole, I truly appreciate your opinion, and I will study my references better on the next coyote I do. I will try and get the feet(as far as clay/size) more accurate, thats why I post the pics of my work, so I can get others advice and opinions. To me thats the best way to learn. As far as the foot looking broken the form was sculpted that way, and it appears to me, Brian was trying to capture the second the yote was putting his foot down, so you will have to take that up with him.
As for my client, he was very satisfied.

I know Brian sculpted it relaxed like that, it just looks like you over did it a little. You’ll notice when Brian mounted this dog on that form he changed the foot. I have no doubt your client was more than satisfied. I’d like to think most of us try to be the best we can, not just good enough for our clients.

I’m sorry Cole! When I received the form from Ozarks there were no directions saying I needed to alter the left front leg because it was sculpted wrong in Cole Cruickshank’s opinion.
I do think I have a little to much clay in the feet, elongating the foot just a little. And as I stated earlier I will study my references better next time. What more do you want me to do/say?
Next time why don’t you post the entire photo instead of cropping it.

If you want to call me by my name Durwood, learn how to spell it.
It looks like you cropped that second photo to illustrate a point. (rolls eyes) Okay, one more pic and I’m done arguing with you. Here is your foot with the leg of the form laid over the top of it. Can you see how your foot does not match the manikin. If I did the same thing with your reference pic you would see the same thing. Next time you skin a dog turn his foot up that far and tell me what it’s toes do. Unless you break the ankle or tendons they will curl up. You have it bent too far, not a lot but still too far. You might be right, the extra clay is likely causing it to look the way it does. Lets just agree to disagree on the leg and talk about the ears, eyes, and feet.

I am not arguing with you. Hell I agreed with you.
If that foot is bothering you that bad, by all means please don’t look at the pic any more.
Oh, and don’t pull the photoshop crap out.
I also added the “c” I unintentionally left out of your name, sorry.
