I am not sure why but the last deer I did the skin around one of the eyes seems to have shrunk a bit. Not a lot but enough that the clay is showing just a little and it is irritating the snot out of me! I used a scalpel to scrap some of it off but I worry about scratching the eye so I stopped. Anyone got a suggestion on what I could use chemical wise to clean it with and remove the rest of the clay without causing damage to the skin or eye? Thanks in advance.

If an administrator reads this I would like to report a problem I have when posting (and it happened on while trying to post this thread also). It seems the only way lately I can get a post to submit is to use an emoticon. Without on the post just sits there and goes nowhere.
I am not a big user of these things but if that is the only way I can post I guess I will.
I think if you moisten the clay up a little with some water it should clean off—-just use a small brush to wet it.
As far as the posting issue I cannot replicate it on my end . I guess for now just keep using the emoticon !
