Hey guys, been a long time since I’ve posted on here. I shattered my ankle back on January 3rd and while its getting better I’m still unable to walk, but I’m finally gonna post these pictures. I did these 2 coons as Christmas gifts for family. They are the first 2 mounts I’ve done without any help. I know I’ve got a lot of room for improvement, but I’m happy with how they came out. I know the pictures are very good but I’d appreciate any feedback you guys can give. What are your immediate reactions to em?

Dobber glad to have you back, hope the ankle is healing well.

Feet and toes need some work, especially the second one. The first one may be the pic, but the muzzle does not look even and uniform. Maybe the form or if you added clay to the areas around the whiskers, but the two sides don’t match. Needs more grooming as well, Raccoons are very clean and groomed animals. Study this referenc pic, notice the toes in it as well.

Thanks D, The first pics muzzle looks worse in the picture than it does in person, but it is a little lopsided. The toes on the 2nd pic gave me FITS. I used critter clay in small balls and worked them down into the toes until I had just barely too much to make up for a little shrinkage. They look really crooked in that pic but I had em a little more straight and uniform after it was all said and done. THANK YOU for that reference pic, thats a great one for the toes. I was worried about making the inner ear too dark and also my noses looking too bulbus but that pic shows clearly that I could have done more on both areas. Thanks a ton bud!
