My grandson has provided me with a couple winter projects. The 9 point last week and the 10 point this morning. I was with him for the 9 point and my son was with him on the 10 point.
Cool and congrats! Where were they harvested and what did he use to take them down with?
You won’t see deer with racks like that here in East Tennessee.

Very nice indeed. He is quite the hunter. I know people who have hunted for 20 years and never got one buck that big, let alone two !

We need more young hunters. As many of you on here know, I am a high school math teacher so I know a lot of young men and women. It is amazing how few hunt these days. This semester I have eighty-one students, only three have ever hunted in their life. One is a female and loves it. I actually offered to do a head or a duck for these students for the cost of material only to introduce them to the world of taxidermy. None have ever had anything mounted, or their parents in their life. How sad!
I take my mounts to school from time to time and they sit in my classroom until they are not noticed any longer then they come home and something else goes in. Fortunately I have never had any PETA type people start yelling at me…yet!
