OfflineI never tried it on a deer. I imagine it would be even less effective because you would have air leaking out from around the head and neck if it was a shoulder mount deer you were working on. With the foxes and yotes, the air didn’t release the skin from the membrane and muscles hardly at all. I guess the membrane is very stretchy and as soon as the critter deflates, the membrane shrinks back and you still have to use the scalpel quite a bit. In my experience it saved all of about 3 minutes!
