Deer Class With D. Price|Gamehead and Lifesize Mammals|Forum|Taxidermy Talk

I just returned from Raleigh NC tonight, I flew down to work with Mr Price for a day or two, It always amazes me that no matter how long you do this Taxidermy thing you always have some thing to learn. We all end up at the same destination but take many different routes to to get to where we are going. I was amazed at the indepth of D’s methods that he uses on the competition mounts ( Blue Ribbons don’t lie ) The man is very serious about his whitetails mounts. We talked at length about different eye sets, references use, deer forms,( what we liked and did not like about many forms on the market today.) We laughed a lot and through it all finally got the deer mounted. I highly recommend D’s 1×1 class you will have ALL his attention thru out the day, ask him a question and you get an answer. I really enjoyed my time at his Shop, if your looking to step up your whitetail shoulder mounts set a session up with D, it’s money well spent.
