Mr Vincent,is that a replacement nose. I have been zooming in and looking at the detail you and D put in a mount. Keep posting I’m getting some good reference.

Thanks guys and nice mount D. No replacement nose. I use the speed septum tool and milk jug for the septum on commercial mounts. I have my own replacement nose I use on competition mounts. I also use Liqutex medium gloss varnish to texture the nodules on the nose pad.

Awesome Mount Vincent, I’m sure that’s just what Gene had envisioned when he was sculpting that form. Great all the way around, even the cape and antlers, I must be in a different Ohio than that guy, lol

Going to ask a dumb question!! What is the difference between Liquitex and mog pog, Some one help me understand as far as competition. I just bought some to day to try on my next piece. And if i’m correct you rebuild the nodules then paint or do you all have another method.
