Liquitex is thinner and I can apply it with an applicator bottle. I texture my noses after I painting is done but before gloss.

I texture mine before I paint them. That’s what is so neat with taxidermy, it can be done more than one way and it still work.

I can already see that this comp.stuff gets complicated trying to study eyes,ears,noses,lip lines,and druming,thats just some of the stuff I have been trying to study. Then you all go talking about eye rotation then that makes me go back to study more. I now it was going to be tough in competing but I really didn’t realize all this stuff. Got alot to learn guys.

This is just the reason I am working on my piece slowly,and going to the Big Rock in January in hopes to understand what to look for ,and see what the judges look for. Hopefully to see different eyes in whitetail deer.
