Awesome deer D.Price, Don’t know how you work with those short hair (more like fuzz) :/gamehead-and-lifesize-mammals.I’m from up north lol I have only done 1 little deer in velvet.

Beautiful job on that one ROOKIE ! With capes like those skinning is the MOST important part! repairs can be really hard to hide!!! Now post a pic of th whole deer …..dang man :halo:

Rick Im not sure if I have a pic of the whole deer. If you look close and have an HQ catalog, it is the same deer that is on the HQ tan page. That is the first deer I mounted using the new tan when it first came out. Jeremy took the pics, so if there is one he has it on file somewhere.

Actually D. I think you altered a W01 (full upright) to a semi-upright, I dont have the pictures saved on my computer but I remember it was a really nice mount, I might have them saved on the server at work somewhere

I do have the piece of hide that you cut off the back of the mount and still take it to the trade shows to let people feel how soft the HQ Tan is after it dries

You are right Jeremy, it was a WO1 and I altered into the first WO5 before there was the WO5 series. I forgot about that, hell I can’t remember all this stuff. Here is the only other pic I have of the deer. It’s just not very large.
