I was cleaning up a few things last week when I ran across this Grey Fox I had in a storage room. I remember it was mounted on a McKenzie GF-11 form. It might be as much as 15 years ago. I guess for my first Grey Fox ever it looked ok…at the time. By today’s standards…..(Draw your own conclusion!). I had very little reference material at the time so it has very obvious flaws to me now. Just thought I would share it as my mind went down memory lane and I reflect on how far I have come. (Don’t worry folks, I will not quit my day job. I am only a hobbyist. I don’t have time to do taxidermy for anyone else with my teaching job)

Not a bad mount at all for your first . Most customers would be happy with that.
I was lucky in that I grew up in a full time shop and had a lot of access to training and good mounts to start with. That being said, my first mounts are no longer with us……..
