Whenever I get a fox or bear in (I buy them from sellers) the first thing I do is stop rot the ears before putting it into the freezer.  (I  have had problems with those sensitive fox ears in the past!)  Then as soon as I pull it from the freezer and the ears start to be pliable I put stop rot on again. both inside and out.  Am I going overboard on something I shouldn’t need to worry about?  What do you think?  I am just wondering how necessary it really is and if I am just fooling myself.
