I mounted a coon ped up and just uncarded it and found that one of the ears drummed up really badly… To fix it I was thinking rehydrate and inject some type of adhesive and then just work it around and let it dry again, any thoughts on how that would work? Its a tanned hide and i originally used buckeye supreme hidepaste.

No need to rehydrate. Just inject some of the Buckeye into it. The moisture from the hide paste will give you what you need.

If you rehydrate it could cause drumming after it dries where it is not drumming now.
