One of my best clients has a deer mounted everyway possible. This year he brings me 2 and wants them fighting, mounted on adjacent walls in a corner. Of course I said ok.
I decided to start with Gene Smiths WO4 Series Quarter Sneaks and see where it takes me. I have a WO4-7018L and a WO4-7120R. SO wish me luck I’ll keep you updated as it progresses.

This is gonna be an anatomical nightmare. Deer don’t usually fight from this angle. Especially while hanging on the wall.
Atleast it’s better than the side by side on the wall fighting bucks.
I borrowed this photo from the www, I sure hope I didn’t upset anyone by doing so. I know how I am.

Very good Krusher, Thats why I said I had to sleep on it. Got tired of looking at it. I’ll either have to roll the head/neck a little more which will give me antler clearence issues on the neck instead of the ear. Or after sitting here looking over the pics for the past hour or so, I may be able to just raise the right turn deer higher and then roll the neck more. The client will just have to hang that deer a couple of inches higher on the wall, which I think will look fine.
I’m open for any ideas you may have, but, to answer your question, I have noticed there is an issue there. Just don’t know how I’m gonna tackle it yet, because I wanted to pin the ears back in the aggressive position on both deer.
just a suggestion , if you are not sure of the position of the ear mount that one first and see how you can position it with the other deer and then you can position the ear ……and you still have the option of raising or lowering the position on the wall or even adjusting the form. now I am sure you know all of this but it is fun to watch the progress
Neat looking project D. The last picture you have posted makes me think I would probably try to put a bit of right turn in the buck on the left in the picture and turn his head down but really hard to tell from picture. Keep us posted. Can’t wait to see the finished product! I know it will be nice!
