What is the best hide paste on market now. Years ago I used I think it was called lock tight by Rick Carter?. Not really sure but I don’t see it in any of supply books. Just wanted some advise from some of you as to which hide paste I should use on Deer Head mounts. After years of being shut down, I’m trying to start shop back up, mainly for my oldest son which seems to be very interested in learning. So I may have, to a lot of you may seem to be stupid questions, but I really appreciate any good advice I might can get. Thanks, Tommy.

That would have been Ronald Carter’s Lock Tight, and I am pretty sure it is no longer available, but I could be mistaken. I will do a little investigation into to that.

I myself use Master’s Choice Hide Glue from Head Quarters Taxidermy Supply on everything I mount.

OK!! I Have been a professional Taxidermist over 15 years now, and like many of you, I have tried TONS Of pr mixed hide paste, Hide paste in a caulking Tube, powder Hide paste you mix, Hide paste kits, Etc… I Will make it EASY For you all to choose!! Tried em all– Try HQ HIDE GLUE!! THE BEST!!!
