Deer season has been open here since Aug, 15th and I must say things are looking good for me. Thank you Lord for great customers and friends!
I am getting in a lot of skins for wholesale fleshing, mainly elk and bear right now
Rifle season just opened here this weekend and I got in 3 deer to mount. I have already taken in 8 during bow and muzzle load season (only 2 are shoulder mounts) so I am pretty much where I was last year at this time:)
Glad to hear things are off to a good start. I just got in number 46 for shoulder mount and 18 european. Looks like a trip to Disney World is in the kids future!
I got a moose. Deer archery is always slow for me and I am ok with that since I can only take in so much.

Numbers are down here . Even the camo dipping is slow. Money is tight for folks I guess. Maybe it will pick up . Sure hope so.
We are in the prerut stage so their more coming in . Already kicked out some euro’s and mount’s . But lord have mercy when rifle kick’s off in one week it’s on . It’s gonna be a good year .

My season doesnt really begin until later. Being part time the major work goes to the “low ballers” I am still at 475 and that scares some off but I have repeat customers who like the quality and last year I had the best year ever and the most diverse amount of critters. I have two deer, 1 bobcat and 3 turkeys to finish up from last year with a possibly a bear to start this year. We shall see!
Just getting in, been slammed, can’t get my finish work done for skinning critters…Looking to take in 4 more tomorrow……..DC
Over 40 and about 15 euros, plus a couple of bobcats 4 coyotes and 3 coons and two fox, I think thats all….I got a little finish work done today finally…….DC
I counted up today I have a total of 65, 16 want them by christmas…..DC
