Jody your deer looks good and I did not want my question to come as a critique by any means. I saw something that did not look right to me and was only asking for my own benefit. Like you said it was just mounted and it could have helped you to fix it before it dried if it was wrong. After seeing your pictures I now can see the look you are going for.

Look at the reference and it shows the white patch is shifted to the outside turn. But if you look long enough, you will find pictures that want show the twist as much. So, if you keep it some where in the middle of the road you should be fine.
