Hi guys and girls.
Im getting in my first large lifesize in the morning and need all the advice I can get and especially on the skinning cuts.
I have mounted plenty of boar shouler mounts but only a few small life size mammals (ferrets and a dog)So any pointers are really appreciated.
Cheers
Mick
I have tried something on the last lifesize hog I skinned that Vincent told me about and instead of spliting the legs I tubed them out and the made a short cut between the hooves and pulled them out the bottom. With doing this you will have to reattach the hooves kinda like cutting the nose off a hog and adding an artificial nose but that keeps you from having any seam on the legs at all. If you go this route I would skin him down the center of his back if he has good hair that way you can slide him on like a pair of pants and it would be less sewing. Good luck to you
