anyone have any tricks on measuring for life size mounts. Seams I always order forms to big and have to spend a lot of time cutting them down.

If you skin them yourself, the best way IMO is to use carcass measurements once you skin them.

If you don’t have the carcass, once the skin is tanned stretch the skin across the girth, lay it flat and then with a relaxed skin take your three measurements E-N Girth and Length.

X2, but you really need to stretch it widthwise or you will end up with a long skinny whatever.

If it is something open mouth and you are using a form with the cast lip system or preset jaws you need to get the E-N as close as possible.

But joe is correct, the length is the easiest alterations to make.
