What I have is this, all my skin lines up great but the legs. after tucking the skin in I still have around 3 inches of leg skin hanging past the pad area of the foot. my question is do I cut the leg at the joint and ad a little to the shoulder and a little to the leg or do you all have any suggestions! this one has thrown me for a loop here. And my skin is starting to get stiff to work with, can I rehydrate it and if so with what?

Just work the extra skin out by working the skin back up the leg. Use a plenty of hide paste to help move the skin.

I have a spray bottle with water and a touch of fabric softener and salt for misting a drying skin.

Not sure why you have relief cuts in front of the elbows? If the hide doesn’t fit, alter the form while retaining proper anatomy. If it wouldn’t come together around the elbow you either need to taxi the skin down or reduce the diameter. Sometimes sculptors get carries away at elbows and hocks.

You need to fix those legs as Jared suggested. 2-part foam them back to the way they were. Study some mammal carcasses and stop guessing.
