I hope you leveled the eyes … the left one is higher than the other. Also, pupils do not sit straight up nad down as you have them. The chin on the form is also WAY too wide! No cat – big or small – has a chin that wide to its muzzle!
They tip in a bit at the tops of the pupils to a 10° inward cant, as seen in this photo.

The rear corners of the eyelids sit on a higher plane than the front corners. From the front corner of the eyes, to the rear corners measures and angle of 20°, as seen in the picture below.

Here the profile angle of the seating of the eyes, is seen as set at 90°.

Thanks John. Nice pics. I’m working on the symmetry, yes the left eye needs to come up.the pupils are canted but very slightly.and yes the chin is we bit to wide.I noticed a lot looking at the pics.I’m not in rush. I’m altering little at a time.Do you sell reference photographs? I can always use more.

There is a slight mold shift issue with that form, not a hard fix just haven’t had time to do it

I remeasured my cape so ive had to alter just a little length and girth . I will mount cat this weekend . Probably starting tonight and finish up early in the morning . hated to make you wait but as you well know you make plans to do something and something else comes up. I have a booth at the Muskogee Expo next Month and definetly want to take this guy with my deer and other critters. Just a small booth . But hundreds of hunters show up. I plan on taking in more this year .
HeadQuarter’s really has made it easy for me to establish a solid foundation in taxidermy. I’m confident in my tanning. I know if i measure twice and order once my deer cape’s fit every time like it should. Gene’s forms have pleased many customers last year and now the mammal forms are becoming available. New poses. I know ill be using this form alot. Sweet pose with attitude . customers will want this when they see it. I know i did .

Had to go with bigger nose and sew midsection up higher.rinsed glue out of cape with HQ degreaser. Cat cleaned nicely and hair fluffed back up.I mounted most of it this eve.put a bag over it and will do ears and sew legs up tomorrow .It was 116 degrees so It didn’t take long to get to a stopping point.
