I mounted a raccoon about four years ago.  I need to move it to a new location and need to reposition the tail to get it to fit.  If I remember correctly I think I used a brush on tan but it may have been EZ-100.  (It was one or the other.)  I am hesitant to just bend the wire in the tail for fear the skin may crack up and make it look bad.  Can just the tail somehow be rehydrated so I can accomplish this and how would you suggest doing this?  Thanks for any suggestions!

If you need to put a drastic bend in the tail, I would rehydrate it by injecting water into the tail with a syringe. I would inject the entire length of the tail a few times until it gets pliable enough to bend.
