Hey der! Im kinda new to taxidermy and workin on a pretty big red. I think I did a step odr two backwards. I had him in a denatured alcohol pickle for a few days and noticed that his feet smell rotten. Im currently dryin him out In salt in hopes that it can be salvaged.
Am I just wasting my time on this one? Any way to salvage this squirrel?

Are they skinned out completely down to the toes?
