I wasn’t sure if I should post this under tanning or mammals but I figure in the end someone will read it and be able to answer my question.
With summer approaching and the end of the academic school year a wore out teachers thoughts turn to taxidermy! I have a bobcat in my freezer, unskinned but I have the measurements and I am trying to determine the proper size manikin to order for it.
The measurements are 1-3/8 x 17 x 32. I had the tape measure tight over the fur.
Is there any standard rule to speak of to determine the final manikin for this cat? I was wanting to order it this week to pick up at a seminar on 3 June so I could get the seminar discount!
I do home tanning. I have a couple methods (HQ paint on, EZ-100, and Pro-1) I use. I am sure that I will encounter shrinkage no matter which I use. the question is, how much?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

D. I see you will be at that seminar. I am looking forward to it.
