Lets try this again, and not get the thread locked. I was attempting to do this to start a discussion, and maybe learn something new by others following suit. Any way, lets keep this civil, and if anyone would like to critique my work that will be fine. I’m a big boy and can handle it. All I ask is if you critique my stuff please post your real name and don’t hide behind an AKA. Lets have a learning post here and not try to prove this site is better/worse than any other site. So here we go, Im gonna try and get the finished product up in pics before it gets locked this time.
Also I took the time to take pics with a $500 camera instead of my cell phone. So hopefully they will turn out better.

I have whats gonna sound like a really stupid question but here it goes. I see lotsa people do all their ear clay work right there on thev form …….now how do you get your ealiners in your ears without cuting your clay work off the form…or is that what you do.I do my ears the same way as that but by the time I get my earsliners in my ears and back on the form my clay work looks like crap and nothing like when I started. Still to this day on any given mount my ears will give soooo much trouble…..then the next mount everthing goes as smooth as it ever could. Thanks for any help with this question. Tricky
Cut the earbutts off at the form. Cover in Saran Wrap, then place in the freezer until cape is ready to mount. Slide cape on form and place ears where you cut them from.
Wow, thats easy when you can have a thread, where you don’t have all the negativity and b/s to weed through isn’t it? Hope that helps someone out.
Now, that will be a $100.
D. I ordered one of these replacement nose’s for my comp deer this year along with the WO7 22″ floor ped. I ordered the largest one and it seemed to be to narrow, I also ordered a septum for a back up plan (thank goodness because I was short on time). Have you used one of these nose’s on a larger form and if so what do you have to do and how did it look. As it was I spent almost a whole day with the septum and epoxy sculpt building the inside detail of the nose and still wasn’t 100% satisfied.

The large should have worked fine on that form Donnie. If it is to narrow just build it up and tie it in to the form with Apoxie Sculpt. After it kicks just sand it down to where it is even and has a smooth transition.
On a side note sand the side of the replacement nose so the Apoxie Sculpt will bond to it.

If you have nothing positive to say, you might as well not be here anyway.
I tried adding something positive the first time this thread was posted. I offered my opinions, as well as posted reference pics and diagrams. I tried to initiate a discussion about the reference pics I had posted thinking maybe the thread could be about learning. I even offered a sample of my own work for discussion, just in case someone felt more comfortable critiquing it instead of Mr. Price’s for fear of upsetting the boss. All that did was get me a call to the principal’s office via a phone call from the boss and the thread locked. I would be happy to critique the deer in this thread, but unfortunately I have chosen not to use my name in my profile therefore I do not meet the stipulations set forth by Mr. Price in the initial post.
Mr. Moderator, I have plenty I can bring to your site. However, I will not be bullied or intimidated by someone like Mr. Price just because they are a moderator. I have been a member of taxi.net since the old forums, and on the new forums since it was launched in 2006. In all of those years I have not received a single phone call from Ken Edwards nor have I ever been threatened by him to be removed from his forums. I’ve managed to have both happen here in the matter of one week. Maybe this is an exclusive club and I’m just not cut out to be in the “good ol’ boys club”. I guess I’ll know for sure when I try to log in tomorrow.
