TAX-E-DERMIST wrote: I tried adding something positive the first time this thread was posted. I offered my opinions, as well as posted reference pics and diagrams. I tried to initiate a discussion about the reference pics I had posted thinking maybe the thread could be about learning. I even offered a sample of my own work for discussion, just in case someone felt more comfortable critiquing it instead of Mr. Price’s for fear of upsetting the boss. All that did was get me a call to the principal’s office via a phone call from the boss and the thread locked. I would be happy to critique the deer in this thread, but unfortunately I have chosen not to use my name in my profile therefore I do not meet the stipulations set forth by Mr. Price in the initial post.

Mr. Moderator, I have plenty I can bring to your site. However, I will not be bullied or intimidated by someone like Mr. Price just because they are a moderator. I have been a member of taxi.net since the old forums, and on the new forums since it was launched in 2006. In all of those years I have not received a single phone call from Ken Edwards nor have I ever been threatened by him to be removed from his forums. I’ve managed to have both happen here in the matter of one week. Maybe this is an exclusive club and I’m just not cut out to be in the “good ol’ boys club”. I guess I’ll know for sure when I try to log in tomorrow.

Wow, guys I guess Im not gonna be able to post pics of any of my work since my stalker wants to stir up crap every time I do. It appears he is only here because of me, being that all his post so far have been in my threads or aimed toward me. I called and talked to him Friday to try and straighten this out. But I guess he refuses to see where I’m coming from.

I’m not sure where he got the “Boss” from. Or the “Good Ole Boys” club.

He claims he has been attacked every since he critiqued my first WIP deer thread. I challenge him to go to the other thread and copy and paste here, any attack on him. This will not happen because there are no attacks. All so show me where I have bullied you?

Please no one attack TAX-E-DERMIST, he seems to be very sensitive to anything said, and is looking for anything to bring our forum a bad name.

I will add this: despite my bad attitude in the first thread and this one, Mr. Price has learned from it and fixed the issues he was having with the front corners of his eyes. These look much much better.

Please find something wrong with it. I know it’s not perfect, like the left eye was rotated a little to much, it’s showing more white in the front than the right eye is in the back. Whew! Damn and I thought I was perfect. See how easy that is TAX? I know I’m not perfect and can admit it. I’m not God and I can not reproduce anything he has ever created.

Now I challenge everyone to find something else wrong with it. I think TAX has a problem with someone telling me my work looks good. SO PLEASE FIND SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT. If not I will be forced to point them out myself.

Sorry, I don’t hug guys. It’s kinda gay if you ask me. But I would love to give you a critique on one of your deer sometime.:innocent:

Glad someone else noticed, very good Bob. This is commercial work, and the customer will be happy. The main reason the shape is off is because I rotated the left eye to much, and I was pulling the skin back on the right one trying to show some white.

The customer will not notice because he can’t see both eyes at the same time, unless he takes pics like I did.

My work is pretty easy to find. I’ve posted it all over the internet for the last 10 years. I showed some of my clay work on here the other day, you can start by critiquing that.

I don’t care how long you have been a member somewhere else, and that you have never been repremanded. We have a set of rules here that we are gonna try our best to enforce. Can we 100%? Maybe not, but we are sure gonna try.

Just bring positive info to this site and we will be good. I’m on ya like flies on a turd. So watch your step.

Hey D, Great mount. One question for you or anyone else that wants to chime in, although you clearly said you over rotated the left eye do you normally try and show the white in your commercial mounts? If so, why?

The Deer’s Right eye is rotated but the skin doesn’t look rotated with the eye. Did you sand down the form a little and pull in the eyelid with the form? Or did you just keep it the same?

Other than that a couple tweak’s here and there, but excellent for any customer out there.

Actually Rudy, I ran out of hide paste and didn’t have enough to hold the skin where it belongs.:innocent:

From the straight on photo it looks like the deer’s left eye is lower. It might just be the photo but when I put my T-square on it ,it’s a little lower. Very nicw mount. Ken
