This guy wanted a 22 inch spread out of these. He was a little dissapointed when I told him it would be closer to 17.

By the way this is the newest WO4 from Gene Smith 7 1/2 x 22 right turn. It’s actually the first one out of the mold. It is also now availible in left turn.

Hey D, I am working on a pair right now with the same bracket. I was wandering what you used to build around the bracket when you mounted it, was it clay or some other product.

Here is a pic from the L/S Albino I done. If you are using a short incision cape and are gonna need to remove the antlers, make sure you use some sort of release agent under the bracket and Apoxie Sculpt or you will not get the off.

Take the screws out sculpt it in place. Let it sit over night, pop the rack off and from the bottom side where the holes are in the bracket, drill your screw holes. Then with a slightly larger bit, drill down from the top side a 1/2 inch or so to counter sink your screws. Then once the cape is on and your rack is in place, screw it down and fill in counter sink holes with Apoxie Sculpt or clay. Sew up cape.

O.k, got it.I was thinking that maybe the apoxie sculpt would not be enough weight or to say hold it down with out tipping over. I had already thought of doing it that way, but thought i would ask to keep from messing it up and getting in a real fix. thanks for the pointer.

If its a large rack, leave one screw in it and do your Apoxie Sculpt around it. Let sit over night, pop off, fill in around the one screw hole, let set up then drill your holes.

Very nice rack. Looks like a South Texas rack, as dark as they are.
