Ok, Bonnie just went into surgery. She has been dreading this day for a long time. Her past experiences have been bad, to say the least. So we came to DUKE for this one. The folks here are great. They had her all smiles as they wheeled her off to the O.R. Now we wait.
Page we will be praying for all of you today!!!!! Pray she heals quickly!!!!!

Surgery went well at Duke Raleigh. Her arm has been freed up enough that the doc was able to lift it over her head. That’s the first time in 4 years! We just got home safe and sound. Her arm is starting to wake up from the drugs. Uncomfortable to say the least. She was high as a kite when she woke up. They said it was like a synthetic LSD. She was real happy for a while. Thanks for the prayers.

Well, it’s Sunday morning and I just took all Bonnie’s wrappings off. Some bruising and soreness from the surgery, but the majority of her pain is gone! Physical therapy starts Tuesday, so I’m sure the soreness will increase. Overall, the surgery was a huge success and we thank ya’ll for the prayers.
Great to hear it was a success! We will keep yall in our prayers still. We hope for minimal pain through the physical therapy!
