After being with Scott this week killing his first turkey today was my turn and me and a good friend pulled a double. Not the biggest bird I have ever killed but still a good bird and a hunt I will never forget. This was the 3rd time I have pulled a double with somebody but none of the others were as exciting as this one!!!!!!
It was lots of fun Ken now I am trying to get some real work done 🙁
Cool Beans, Congrats…..Doubles are great…I’ve hunted 16 out of the last 20 mornings. I have three down so far, lookin for two more….Me and my buddies have been after them hard…. we took a triple on the third…I took a picture of a picture…DC
Man that is awesome DC!!!! We only have 2 tags here in NC but the way our season is going I may have trouble using the last one 🙁
We get five here, our group of six took 9 birds in three days….I shot one. the one in the middle with his head blown off…Come on down to the beach. I think I can find ya one…I have two more properties that I haven’t hunted yet…I missed a bird yesterday. My buddies both missed and today it was so foggy that I had two walk by at twenty yards and couldn’t see them clear enough to tell if they were mature…DC
DC I might just take you up on that next year 😉 I would rather hunt turkeys than anything!!!!!!

congrats on the gobbler, nice one… hearin all this talk of multiple tags make me think im getting shortchanged by WI haha, we only get one issued with a license up here, you can buy more for if your management zone has extra, but thats sometimes a little iffy… but then again i’ll bet the ya’ll down south are a lot bigger on turkeys than we are up here…

John, I have a DR. appointment tomorrow morning. Call me, I’ll see if I can get ya on a bird… I love turkey huntin….its addictive as heck……Had a long beard jake gobble at me at about 4 feet this morning. It rumbled my insides….LOL…DC
Hey Steve, talked with Page yesterday and he said if you needed help with your other tag he would bring the Cochran call down and pull one in for you
Yeah, that call is pretty sweet! Called in 5 yesterday from 300 yards in a matter of a few minutes. Now there’s 4. Taking Bonnie tomorrow for hers.

I have done ok this year Eric 😀 But I would have loved to won that call 🙁 Page’s pockets were a little deeper than mine this time!!!!
