Jonathan tore em up yesterday at the Boy Scouts RAIN GUTTER rigatta
Was the first time he competed in one. It’s cool. They make sailboats and race them in sections of rain gutter against other scouts. Kinda like the pinewood derby, on water.
He went every round undefeated, to take first place. Then, at the end. He was awarded best in show. He was one tickled little boy!
I’ll have to get a pic od him and his boat.

That is awesome! I remember mine from when I was a kid. I carved this really killer looking boat and painted it with a really cool paint job. All the kids were envious when I
showed up. I put it in the water and it fell over! Here, I carved the bottom of the boat to resemble a real boat and with the weight of the sail it was top heavy and just fell over in the water. LOL That’ll teach me not to test it in water before the big race! 😡 Haha 🙂
LOL Bill!
There were a few that were awful unstable. None tipped. Most of the boys were too worried about the guy in the other gutter. Jonathan kept his focus on his boat. He sure has a great attitude with this stuff. He just enjoys doing it. No matter how he places. He was even giving the other boys tips on how to make thiers go faster! Sure proud of that lil guy!
