DARTON LIGHTNIN i know why in the world am i shooting a 44 inch bow that weighs 80 lbs. i like power and my stature is such that these little bitty bows are WAY TOO LITTLE i shot the lightnin since 93. in 98 i had shot the limbs to death sent it to darton and they replaced them free of charge. i shot it til 2001 and got a mathews q2xl it was junk and had no power. i sold it and went back to the darton.
JEREMY how do you like the mr7? i am interested in the mr8 as i like the cam technology and the fact that its a true power bow(2 cams) i didnt like the 5 inch brace height and the newer model has an 8 inch brace height which is overkill in my eyes.
getting to old to shoot the darton i have but have 6 more deer to take before i retire the bow. i saw pearson spoiler listed that was THE bow at one time have a great day this is a great thread
The MR7 is easy to draw, feels like 60# when set on 70#…good valley but a spongy back wall. For a hunting only bow I would stick with the MR6 or 7.
