Hello, Brand new to the forum. Got my first Alaska brown bear and want to rug it myself.
What will i need besides rugshell, ear liners, and eyes?
Not planning on felting.
Also, I’m planning on mounting this on 4 sheets of plywood and putting on the ceiling. No wall space.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing you are gonna need to do is get the bear tanned.

Well, I guess all you need is, hide paste, clay, apoxie sculpt and some paint. Unless you want to put a replacement nose on it.

In my opinion, it would look a lot better backed and felted, but it’s your bear.

How big is it?

Bear is a 7 1/2′ footer, beautiful though, choc legs with blond back.
Any good books or dvd’s showing bear rug taxidermy?
