OfflineI had a woman bring in some patch work fur rugs that she bought at a yard sale. Some of the patches of fur and leather were shaved so thin that they are starting to tear and the seams are coming apart. Also, they smell of cigarette smoke and wet dog! My question is, can the rugs be dry cleaned or would the process cause further damage to the leather? If the rugs can’t be cleaned the woman doesn’t want to invest the money to repair the damaged areas. Any advice would be great.
