I sprayed a few fish with wet look gloss. After about 2 weeks in the showroom, I looked and saw the gloss flaking off. Never had this to happen before. Could I have not put enough hardener in the mix or could it be something else. I appreciate and I’m open for any advise . Thanks

Could be a number of things. What paint are you using ?

It could be the hardener was not mixed in the right ratio.

Could be it was not applied correctly. Did you give light tack coats to start ?

Could be a chemical reaction between the paint you are using and the gloss.

Could possibly be a faulty batch.

I use to use that stuff, was a pain and expensive. I came across a product called pour on, not sure if 2 or 1 word. ace has it. a 2 part epoxy clear coat. very shiny.can be brushed on,cheap, goes a long way.  Just saying
