got my taxidermy today yesterday and got to read the artical on ez eye rotation.i had bought the tool at surry from vincent , now i can’t wait to use it! i can even see the bennifits to using this system on forward looking mounts especialy ones with round puplis.GREAT IDEA! Vincent
Thanks Chris, hope you like it and hope it makes eye setting and rotation easier. Been using it for couple years now, and I use it on most every mount I do, I love rotating eyes on my mounts. It really works great on mountain lions, leopards, lions and of course, hogs. The 24mm cutter and backs will work with a white banded 18mm coyote eye from Tohickon. Plans are to make a smaller arbor and cutters plus backs for 12mm thru 22mm in near future.
I saw that at the WV show and thought it was pretty ingenious. Then Breakthrough just came, and I thought it was ironic there was an article about burning/melting the foam for the same purpose, along with the cutter. If it was me I’d opt for the simple cutter instead of burning foam!
