I went through several . older fawns start turning brown. Had to reread your post. The newborn fawn photos were blue. That would be a nice project to do.

the ones i have are 5 to 7 days old what do you think , blue or brown?

I dont have an age on the one with blue eye’s , He was tiny . Seen some a little bigger with brown eye’s . So i cant say exactly when they turn color . If he’s small go with blue .

I don’t know I can’t tell for sure. But this came from Wikipedia and theyare calling it a Fallow. Let it buffer and then watch it.

I would like to supplement this thread with a coloring page of fallow deer.

I found him at deer coloring pages. They have also white-tailed deer, mule deer or black-tailed deer, elk, moose, red deer, reindeer, fallow deer, roe deer and chital.
